I really enjoyed the session. I thought Simon did a great job as a facilitator to bring people along the journey. I felt very supported even though we ended up doing something which would normally make a lot of people feel very nervous. I think the ‘building’ of the activities helped with this too – i.e. from a little piece of creativity on your name label through to a big painting piece - but with a group to work with was fantastic.

The brief was to help make our team event fun and interactive. And that’s exactly what we got! The “Taste of Tuscany” menu gave us more food than we could eat. Just a quick thanks again for our event. As soon as I entered the room I was impressed with the atmosphere that had been created. The “getting to know you” was a great way to get the group motivated for a fun social night ahead. Our chefs for the evening were fantastic - Entertaining as well as informative! The girls were in stitches most of the evening and having the three men being so much fun certainly was one of the main contributions to making our event a success. The night was much more than just a cooking experience. The food was outstanding. There was enough variety to cater for everyone and no one had an empty belly at the end of our meal. I would not hesitate in recommending Visualfunk to other colleagues and will certainly be in contact again when the opportunity arises.

I wanted to write to you to say thank you for making our Planning Conference a huge success. After two days of the serious business it was clear the group was ready for a little fun! I wanted to say a big thank-you for your facilitation and workshops at our conference last week. Your facilitation at the conference, helped keep the “energy” in the room – something which is hard to achieve – especially in the “grave-yard” shift directly after lunch. Our team building exercise was superb from start to finish; seamlessly linked to the themes of our planning conference, the sessions were energetic, stimulating and the results were amazing. We needed a creative and exciting way to bring two very different groups of people together. Visualfunk designed an experience that really broke down barriers early - helping our youth mentoring program get off to a flying start. Simon and his team took 14 teenagers with cerebral palsy and 14 adult mentors from the ING Foundation and brought them together through the experience of creating artistic masterpieces. Simon is a natural at helping people relax into the experience of doing something that for many was completely out of their comfort zone. But it is in this space of risk and creativity that the team is formed. Great job Visualfunk!!
