The ultimate team challenge – story telling through music
Ever dreamed of being the next Pavarotti, Domingo, Sutherland? Each person has a story to tell and a song in their heart. All people can sing! Drawing on the wonderful world of operatic performance, this team building activity is abut unblocking team potential and allows all team members to find their voice! Opera has 2 basic parts.
- Recitative: The situation – what is happening
- Aria: How you (the performer) feel about it
Working with a professional opera singer and business facilitator, teams have the opportunity to explore their situation and tell their own stories – through song!
A very high level of personal and team expression is possible in this powerful team building experience. Team members engage with deep emotional connections and uncover blockages to expression. The team development experience builds and develops an overwhelming energy and power for all team members.
An intimate exploration of your team is not for the fainthearted. It may bring a lump in your throat to hear the wonderful sounds each team member contributes.
Teams are provided with the necessary training, materials and accompanist. This is done in a collective environment that is mutually supportive and a great growth experience. Teams are fully involved in the exploration and awakening of concepts and stories – the rest is all up to the talent of the team individuals.
