Opera is an all consuming extravaganza of arts-related performance. It involves drama, music, action, teamwork, costumes and the most revealing instrument of all – the human voice.
90% of people say they can’t sing. Our experience shows that they can. In the process, participants work with voice to discover things about their team and themselves that will have them screaming for more! In this high energy, fun and enormously effective team building activity, participants view their organisation as an opera. They match the past, present and future aspirations of their team with an operatic performance.
Opera is a team building activity that gives participants the chance to explore their work-lives as a drama with a positive resolution. Teams caricature themselves and give voice to their wildest dreams and imagination. Team Opera works with the music inherent in all people and the love of ‘story’. This amazing team building experience enables teams to develop unique skills and knowledge which is unsurpassed in ease of attainment, liberating and fun with long-term impact. Groups encompass the need for a learning organisation, including creativity, embracing the essence of individuality and maximizing communication.
Teams are provided with the necessary training and guidance. They are coached at every step by a professional Opera singer who enables team to express themselves in every way.
The teambuilding finale? Teams work together to create a performance with meaning and hope that offers a light to future team directions.
